Ethan Youderian
Founder & CEO
Ethan is responsible for the management of the firm, including investment decisions and oversight, along with new investment product and strategy development.
Prior to founding Phase3, Ethan was the Chief Investment Officer of PT Asset Management. He began his financial services career in 1994 with Citadel Investment Group. Ethan holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Shane Hoover
Co-Founder & Principal
Shane is responsible for the firm’s systematic strategies and collaborates with the investment team to identify and develop new investment opportunities across all asset classes.
Prior to co-founding Phase3, Shane was a portfolio manager with PT Asset Management. Shane started his career as an analyst with Man Investments and its subsidiary Glenwood Capital. Shane received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colorado - Boulder and an MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
Karim Alwan
Co-Founder & Principal
Karim is responsible for investment thesis formation, investment research with an emphasis on opportunistic volatility ideas, trade structuring and execution, and internal risk systems development.
Prior to co-founding Phase3, Karim was a portfolio strategist at PT Asset Management. He also held various roles at PT Asset Mangement, 3 Twelve Capital, and Credit Suisse. Karim received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from North Carolina State University.
